The first one (below) had the roof chopped about 15 years ago. The owner wanted a different look and, mainly because he was only 5'2'' tall, the Nagari stands a full 6" shorter now. The current owner has never driven the car as he is 6'3". He is contemplating whether to return roof to original height or make it a sports using the lowered screen.
The second car is an original Nagari coupe that still has most of its original chassis, which has been reversed with a fully fabricated double wishbone front suspension attached to where the T-section was, at the rear a complete Pantera engine and transaxle installed in the Y-section. Full air-bag suspension has been installed to get it so low. The original body has been cut and shut, with the green house moved forward a full 300mm. The wheels are custom made 20s with styling scaled up from the original mags. The body is painted Cadmium Yellow - the best colour for Nagaris. The photo was taken at Portland on its maiden voyage after recent registration. The car ran perfectly, no dramas other than a severe lack of legroom. Owned by Jesse Gottya.

You can "modify" the post date by opening it up under EDIT and then clicking on POST OPTIONS in the bottom left (above PUBLISH POST)and then just change the date.

I remember Pete Garvin turning up to Easter in a Bolvo Wagari (or similar title) one year, which looked suspiciously like a Volvo wagon with Nagari-like cardboard appendages taped on.
I am VERY impressed with the way Pete has moved with the times, his paintshop skills are awesome!

The Bolvo Wagari was 1991 at Adelaide ...... seems like yesterday. Henry's photo disk has a couple of photos.
This photo with the marina in the background looks very familiar.
I checked out my Nagari brochure and sure enough, same photo but slightly different car.
The more I compare the photo's the more it looks like either both photo's have been taken on the same day, one after the other using two different vehicles or one of the photo's has been doctored.
Car's situated in the exact same spot, shadow at the same angle.
