The Matt Jenkins Mark 7 restoration pictorial part 4

For the moment, here's the last of this series. These 3 pictures are no less interesting than the previous lot and , in fact, display a radical departure from convention in the bodywork department.


Later on I'd like to delve into the history of Matt's car for him.

The flip front and access from the engine compartment to the tops of each footwell makes so much sense.
Possibly the most well thought out Mk7 I have seen.

Hi Colin, thanks for your comments, i dont stop thinking of different things througout this build, firewall and dash will all be carbon fibre, (see twin exhaust cut outs..) with inspections plates over the tops of foot wells, other body mods include re-located fuel filler to billit item below rear window, rear window moulded into body to make frameless opening hatch, side gaurd vents lengthened, rear needen to be tubbed and jag rear narrowed to fit the 305/30/18s. thanks again, Matt
