Lunch at the Victory.

What a nice day Sunday (not weather wise perhaps). Meeting in the morning at the Crafers pub wasn't all that easy - it was pretty hard to find with all the fog. Anyway 3 Mark 7s and 2 Nagaris plus a couple of "back up cars" and an NSX.set off for Strathalbyn for coffee via Hahndorf passing quite a gaggle of Lotii heading towards Picadilly. Wayne, driving Scott's Nagari sports, took us over some beautiful countryside at a manageable and enjoyable pace (no tearing off into the distance leaving others struggling to either keep up or get lost). It was still very cold in Strath but the sun was shining and here we met the Strathalbyn Auto Collectors Club's chairman who invited us to their big Australia Day bash - open to "all cars manufactured in Australia prior to 1979" (so there's no pressure to get the Ikara finished by then.)
On to Sellicks via another interesting route, encountering the Exotic Spotters along the way, driving Porsche, A8 and Ferrari, arriving just in time for lunch and discovering another 2 car loads who had driven straight there.
The place was packed but we had the cellar to ourselves - they knew we could be trusted among those $1000 bottles.
Here's the view from the balcony.
An excellent day. Read all about it in Ron W's article in the next Slipstream.
