50s cars required.

If anyone's in a position to help out with the below, contact Gary:
"My name is Gary Baxter I am working on a movie called Storm Boy starring Geoffrey Rush to be shot in and around Pt Elliott in mid August. We are looking for 15 x dressing vehicles (parked in the street) that would be typical of circa 1959. Although a few sedans would have been common we are after a good mix of utes, vans and small trucks as well, the more rustic the better. Keeping in mind a FC Holden for ex...ample would be new then so no need to be too rustic but ideally, early to mid 40s would be best. The art department may want to dirty the cleaner cars to make them look natural, this wouldn’t hurt the cars and would just wash off.
There may be a requirement for a car or two to do a drive by. We should only need the cars for one or two days. We would pay $300 per day per car and the owners would be responsible for getting the car to location.
Hopefully some of your members will see an opportunity to not only get their cars out, earn a few dollars but enjoy the bragging rights of being involved in such a great sequel and prequel of the famous movie.
If you could please forward this to any of your members you believe may be interested and if they could email me on gary@trackskill.com.au with photos and details would be much appreciated"
